Chloe walked to me.

Well moving on from the sad news to the happy news. Yesterday my littlest grandaughter Chloe took a couple of steps to come to me. She was so proud of her newly learnt skill. From now on it will be a case of running everywhere and getting mum and dad to chase her. It is fantastic to see Chloe develop.

The passing of a family member and good friend.

Today was not a happy one in the household. "Lucky" the dog mum found in the Blacktown Hospital carpark a lot of years ago was laid to rest. He had a full life and made a lot of people smile. Mum said that he needed a safe place to stay while she found the owner {which never happened}, so Lucky joined our family. He had such a sweet nature even though he was a male. He would get out and visit the local pub where they would feed him the scraps (his favourite meal). At home he was so much at peace with whatever occurred. About 2 years ago he had a mild stroke and spent a number of days being pampered. His recovery was slow with a loss of balance which he learnt to cope with over time. Next his sight went and then his hearing. He spent the major part of his last months guarding the back porch. We will all miss 'Luckstar" and know he is in a better place. He has been laid to rest alongside his friends "Goldie", "Sam" and "Mumma cat".

Introduction to the family so far.

Hi to all. This is the starting of a new era in my family's communication. The photo at the top is of the family many years ago. It contains those that are the love of my life at the time. My beautiful wife, Val and our children Ben, Jeremi, Stephannie, Belinda, Vienna, Scarlett, Myles and Max. Since that time we have added a number to the family namely, Kasey, Ben wife and their sons James, William, Nicholas, and Thomas, Danni, Jeremi's wife and their daughters Issy and Katie, Eden, Steph's husband their daughter Chloe, Ricky, Vienna's husband and their daughter Adalia, and Jony, Scarlett's husband. We will be able to add another to the grouping in a couple of weeks when Ricky and Vienna become parents again. Well this will be updated again soon.
