Talk about making yourself at home.

Well we have a continuing name of "BETTY", well at least for the time being. Today Betty annoyed Zeeva even to the point of laying down beside her on her mat which lasted a good hour or so. Then when Zeeva went outside for a while she returned and found Betty in the middle of her mat and not willing to shift. Zeeva became upset and I had to find another mat for Zeeva she then layed down and they both were content for some time. Poor Zeeva she allows Betty to attach to her teats and stays still until the pain is to intense, moves and then 2 minutes later is allowing her to attach again. That is todays report. Mum said that Myles would have loved to care for this little abandon baby. What do you think Myles?

Her update

Today mum fixed the problem of wet spots through the application of a lamb nappy.
Then came the view that Zeeva was at some stage a proud mum.

New name required however at this time an agreement has not been achieved. That is it for today.

Poor Little Thing

Well today was not as happy as it could be. I went down to one of the bottom paddocks to do some cleaning and hear a litle noise. After hearing it a couple of times and seeing that there were no stock around I walked and found an abandoned little lamb. After finding the lamb I checked out the ewes to find the mother with none showing a developed udder. What this means is that the little thing is to be hand reared. Max came home from school and found the little one and named it "Chops" I hope he renames it in the coming days if it survives. Max is surprises how much the little thing poos.

My princess's birthday

Still as good looking as the day we first saw each other.

Well a little late but the other night we had the opportunity to celebrate the birthday of my little princess. We were lucky to have Steph, Eden and the kids over for the cake and candles. The candles needed to be relit 3 times to enable Lockie and Chloe to also have a turn blowing them out. We did enjoy the evening and the cake. Thanks all.

It's about time.

Hi to all again for the first time in 11 months I think. A lot has happened since the last post. In November 09 Val(at my pressuring her) and I purchased what was to be a dream property for us to retire on when we get older. Located in Tasmania the property from the outside looked great and the price seemed quite fair. I was to come down during the Christmas holidays and do some work on it. Well we shifted down, Val left her rock solid position at the hospital to come down and start again this time full time at a new hospital. I was on two terms Long Service leave. Things are always what they seem the dream is a difficult one to handle and this means I, in fact I should say we will need to re-evaluate the future. Max has two views, he likes the freedom and his tree house, however he dislikes his school. Myles' seems to like it to a greater degree he has a permanent part time job and is saving to go on his mission. This in itself is a great reward of the shift irrespective of its duration. He has his license and has become quite the elegant dresser. Jony, Scarlett and Chase have also shifted down and are trying out life as a Tasweagian. We had the pleasure of their company for a couple of weeks which allowed us to get to know our son in law and grand son a little better. It was great. Well thats all I have time for now hope to pot another soon, hopefully in less than 11 months.

A lovely surprise visit.

We were very lucky yesterday Scarlett and Chase came for a visit. Firstly Chase got frightened by the hairy old man. Once he was over that things weren't to bad.



Uncle Myles showed a softer than normal side. It is a special relationship Myles has with all of his Nieces and Nephews.
Yes he is laughing but there is an underlining reason. Just before the shoot his mum tickled him. All the same he is a great looker(thanks to his Poppy's genes).

And as for Max he just continues to play his game irrespective of what goes on around him.
